Respironics is introducing a brand new line of CPAP machines called the PRI System One. This new line of CPAP machines has some great new benefits for both the first-time and veteran user. To date, only the auto is in production and we are the first to offer it to our patients!

Benefits:

• Simple, turn dial button allows for easy use of patient controls
• Auto-adjusting pressures
• FLEX technology (C-flex and A-flex) including A-flex which helps during both inspiration and expiration.
• Increased humidity control - System One Humidity Control technology analyzes ambient temperature and patient airflow to reach relative humidity at the mask. Choose from 5 levels of relative humidity. System One is the first humidifier in the industry which accounts for room humidity. Sensors inside and outside the CPAP machine closely monitor changes in humidity and prevents condensation from forming inside the tube. This means virtually no rain-out.
• Dry Box – Virtually no water will leak from the heated humidifier which yields none.  This device “spill-free.”
• 360 degree rotating tubing connector – The CPAP tubing connects to the heated humidifier which rotates 360 degrees. This provides increased patient compliance as the tubing can move around freely.

Concerns:

• Slightly bigger than most new “travel size” machines
• Power supply box - Just like the M-series, this line of CPAP is powered through a power cord and power supply box. This power supply is 4.5” x 2.25” x 1.25”.
