Another benefit to this CPAP mask is no confining facial straps to deal with, which means no unnecessary marks left on the face after use. One piece of Velcro attach on each temporal area to secure this mask to the head. Although Puritan Bennett states this as a benefit, patient interviews tell us that this is a drawback to the mask design. Some patients were concerned that the mask might come off during the night as they slept.
