The Acclaim 2 is a nasal CPAP mask that is made by Fisher & Paykel that has similarities to the Flexi-fit series. One of the benefits of this mask is the Glider Mechanism which allows the straps to move side to side as a patient’s face moves, but maintains a seal around the nose. Also, this CPAP mask comes equipped with a bias flow diffuser and filter which reduces air flow noise. This is the only mask on the market that comes with a filter to diffuse air noise! The tubing connected to this CPAP mask is unique in its placement as it runs up the forehead and not down towards the feet like traditional CPAP masks. This can lead to increased comfort for side sleepers as they won’t get tangled in CPAP tubing.
