Nasal masks are designed to cover just your nose, but air can still leak out through your mouth which can affect the quality of your sleep. Some nasal masks have chin straps to keep your mouth closed.
Nasal pillow masks are the least invasive, as they do not cover your nose or your mouth. A nose piece rests gently against your nostrils. You might be able to use a nasal pillow mask if you have very mild sleep apnea. If you are claustrophobic or have a lot of facial hair, this option might be the best choice.
